Dilmah Tea’s Resplendent Ceylon is creating a collection of small, luxury resorts that offer the discriminating traveller a unique circuit across Sri Lanka, with a range of authentic cultural experiences, while contributing towards local communities and the environment through the MJF Foundation & Dilmah Conservation. The circuit currently comprises of three resorts, all members of Relais & Chateaux. We call it the Resplendent Sri Lanka Journey – Tea, Sea & Safari.
Wild Coast Lodge sits on a secluded beach on the edge of Yala National Park. 28 vaulted “Cocoon” tents offer the comfort of a luxury hotel with the excitement of a safari style wilderness experience.
The selected candidate will be based at the Resort at Yala and be responsible for all matters pertaining to taxation, banking, compliance with statutory requirement and book keeping. He must be able to work with minimum supervision and have highly developed interpersonal communication skills. Preparation of month end reports, balance sheet and assisting the Senior Management in budgeting and operational requirements are expected.
High degree of organization and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment is required. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, aged around 25-35 years with exposure in the leisure industry, preferably in a luxury holiday resort in a similar capacity for at least 2 years. Developed IT skills with hands on experience in MS Office and an accounting package would be pre-requisites. The candidate should possess a professional qualification related to accounting from a recognized institution.
