Dilmah Tea’s Resplendent Ceylon is creating a collection of small, luxury resorts that offer the discriminating traveller a unique circuit across Sri Lanka, with a range of authentic cultural experiences, while contributing towards local communities and the environment through the MJF Foundation & Dilmah Conservation. The circuit currently comprises of three resorts, all members of Relais & Chateaux. We call it the Resplendent Sri Lanka Journey – Tea, Sea & Safari.
Wild Coast Tented Lodge sits on a secluded beach on the edge of Yala National Park. 28 vaulted “Cocoon” tents offer the comfort of a luxury hotel with the excitement of a safari style wilderness experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for all functions of human resource department of the resort. This position, as the head of the department, will lead a team of Human Resource Professionals to provide caring service for not less than 100 colleagues including the team of managers of the resort, align human resource strategies with business strategies to meet organizational objectives, and assist the general management to increase the operational efficiency through HR interventions.
High degree of organization and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment is required. The ideal candidate should be matured, aged around 30 – 40 years with exposure in the leisure industry, preferably in a luxury holiday resort in similar capacity for at least one year. Acting as a role model with excellent leadership skills, ability to develop and motivate people by injecting HR best practices to working environment is expected. Developed IT skills with hands on experience in MS Office and HRIS would be required. Working experience in international brands is a definite advantage. The candidate should possess a degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institute.
