The Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our vibrant culinary team at Cape Weligama. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in culinary arts, with expertise in crafting high-quality dishes. You will be responsible for guiding junior chefs, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Your profile

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury resort.
  • A strong foundation in culinary techniques, particularly in the preparation of fine dining dishes.
  • Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and kitchen best practices.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with the wider kitchen and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • A positive attitude, a passion for excellence, and a commitment to upholding the highest culinary standards.
