
Dilmah Tea’s Resplendent Ceylon is creating a collection of small, luxury resorts that offer the discerning traveler a unique circuit across Sri Lanka, with a range of authentic cultural experiences, while contributing towards local communities and the environment through the MJF Foundation & Dilmah Conservation. The circuit currently comprises of three resorts, all members of Relais & Chateaux. We call it the Resplendent Sri Lanka Journey – Tea, Sea & Safari.
Wild Coast Lodge sits on a secluded beach on the edge of Yala National Park. 28 vaulted “Cocoon” tents offer the comfort of a luxury hotel with the excitement of a safari style wilderness experience.
THE ROLE
The selected candidate will be based in Wild Coast Lodge in Yala and will overlook the accounting and finance functions in two of our resorts. He/She should lead the Resorts Finance team, develop effective corporate budgets, financial analysis, process reengineering, motivate the finance team and manage their performance and development needs, develop appropriate systems and procedures for finance function and controls, liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders for statutory and business requirements.
YOUR PROFILE
High degree of organization and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is required. The ideal candidate should be matured with exposure in a corporate office of a star class / boutique resort chain in similar capacity for at least five years. Developed IT skills with hands on experience in Oracle MC and Infor Sunsystems would be an added advantage. The candidate should be a member of ICASL, CIMA, ACCA or a passed finalist.
