Reverie is our new collection of small, laid-back properties in idyllic parts of Sri Lanka, starting with two beachside resorts Ahu Bay and Ayurveda focused Kayaam Wellness.
The Role
We are seeking an innovative and charismatic Head Bartender to lead our bar operations and craft unforgettable beverage experiences for our guests. In this role, you will oversee the bar team, design and execute creative cocktail menus, and ensure the highest standards of service, consistency, and guest satisfaction.
You will manage inventory and bar financials while maintaining a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and hygiene. With your expertise in mixology, product knowledge, and guest engagement, you will play a key role in enhancing our reputation for exceptional dining experiences.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of bartending experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in luxury hotels, resorts, or high-end bars.
- Proven expertise in mixology, wine, and spirits, with creativity in developing signature cocktails.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
- Excellent guest service and communication skills, with a flair for creating memorable experiences.
- Knowledge of inventory control, bar operations, and health and safety standards.
