Sculpted with organic curves and earth-toned textures, it feels born of the landscape, a quiet architectural ode to the meeting of jungle and sea. Within this space unfold two distinctive experiences: a discovery-led Kids’ Club celebrating Sri Lanka’s coastal heritage, and a 1920s-inspired movement studio capturing the grit, nostalgia, and raw character of vintage boxing gyms.

Fossil Room – Kids’ Club

An immersive learning and play space for young explorers, celebrating biodiversity and ancient life. Thoughtfully designed for curious young minds, The Fossil Room is home to the Forest School – an immersive, nature-led learning space where children connect deeply with the natural rhythms and stories of Yala.

Designed around meaningful engagement, the programme invites children to explore, question, create, and discover through guided interaction and hands-on learning.

The Quarry – Gym

A refined fitness space shaped by Yala’s raw geology, focused on strength, movement, and renewal.

Inspired by a 1920s vintage boxing gym, this powerful yet grounded space blends rugged textures and classic training spirit with contemporary refinement. Designed for high-performance fitness, it feels seamlessly connected to the surrounding wilderness while offering the comfort and sophistication of a luxury safari lodge.

The Dune Lounge

Our iconic sundowner experience is elevated with lounge-style seating in a relaxed coastal setting, designed for barefoot comfort and effortless elegance.

Set among the dunes, this open-air lounge is curated for unhurried evenings and quiet moments by the sea. Low cushions, safari-style chairs, woven poufs, natural timber accents, and tactile textures form intimate pockets along the shoreline.

Think handcrafted cocktails, soft firelight, and panoramic ocean views — the signature Wild Coast magic, now enriched with an added layer of beachside ease and warmth.

The Trunk – Boutique

A curated boutique showcasing locally inspired craft, thoughtful mementoes, and conservation-led products.
