Childhood is a safari of imagination, and soon, young explorers will have a space designed to spark that sense of wonder. At the heart of our upcoming family offering is the Fossil Room — a kids’ club concept inspired by Sri Lanka’s ancient coastal story and the secrets whispered by the jungle and sea.

Envisioned as a hub for curious minds, the space will invite children to:

  • Discover natural curiosities and “fossils” inspired by the region
  • Engage in nature-crafting and jungle-inspired learning
  • Join gentle guided adventures amidst the lodge’s wild surroundings

Currently taking shape, this experience is designed to transform play into a journey of conservation, storytelling, and connection,  a rare coastal-safari haven for young minds, soon to be nestled between dunes and jungle palms.

Gym & Movement Studio — Wellness in the Wild

A gym that blends high-performance fitness with immersive natural luxury. The space will feel like an extension of the surrounding wilderness while delivering the sophistication and comfort expected from a luxury safari lodge.

Inspired by the raw, character-rich aesthetic of a 1920s vintage boxing gym, this upcoming space is designed to feel powerful yet grounded, combining rugged textures and classic training spirit with contemporary refinement.

Sundown & Sand — A Beach Bar for Golden Hour Reveries

Our Sundowner Sessions at Wild Coast Tented Lodge have long been a guest favourite, that golden hour tradition where the ocean breeze cools, lanterns glow, and the day slows into something softer. This season, we are enhancing this iconic experience with new lounge-style seating and relaxed coastal settings, designed for barefoot comfort and effortless elegance. Curated textures, low cushions, safari-style chairs, woven poufs, and natural timber accents create intimate pockets along the shoreline.

Think handcrafted cocktails, soft firelight, and panoramic ocean views — the same Wild Coast magic, now with an added layer of beachside ease and warmth.

Reimagined Spa Sanctuary

The spa room is being reimagined to offer a more elevated and harmonious atmosphere, defined by a cohesive design language. Meticulously crafted joinery, curated accessories, and layered lighting will come together to create a warm, calming and immersive wellness environment,  one that feels both grounded in nature and quiet luxury.

Each space within this evolution, from the discovery-driven Fossil Room to the soulful Sundown & Sand bar, reflects our belief that luxury is felt, not stated.
