2025 would have been his 95th birthday and across Resplendent Ceylon’s resorts, our teams came together to mark this second Kindness Day with heartfelt initiatives that aligns with our long term sustainability goals.

At Cape Weligama, the team landscaped and constructed a disability-accessible washroom at the Ariyadasa Elders Home. Ceylon Tea Trails donated essential supplies to a local elders’ and children’s home, while Wild Coast Tented Lodge provided stationery to Bundala School, a school we work closely with.

Meanwhile, from our Reverie properties, Ahu Bay provided a nourishing meal to the children at Anula Children’s Home, and Kayaam House completed the electrical wiring for three buildings at Rekawa Primary School.

Our founders’ belief that “business is a matter of human service” remains at the heart of everything we do. As we reflect on his legacy, we are steadfast in our commitment to upholding this ethos, and are continuously working to reflect this in everything we do.
