Here’s a chronological overview of some of our recent initiatives:

December 2024 – Emergency sensor lights was donated to Wellassa Subhagya School, supporting children with special needs in vision and hearing

February 2025 – Organized a beach cleaning project as a part of ” Clean Sri Lanka Program” guided by the Marine Environmental Protection Authority (MEPA). In addition, snacks were donated to government officers who were involved in the road cleaning project in the Yala area for the same program.

March 2025 – Donated slippers to the Siyanaethuganma village in Ranminithanna, benefiting 28 families with visually impaired family members. Additionally, we donated 150 pairs of slippers and towels to the Subadra Blind and Elders’ Home in Tissamaharama, housing 26 elderly residents.

April 2025 – Donated 26 gift items to the students of Pustholamulla Secondary School in support of their upcoming Avurudu celebration. This contribution reflects our dedication to fostering community spirit.

May 2025 – Provided morning breakfast for 60 students from Bundala Secondary School during their annual educational trip.

June 2025 – Completed a road cleaning campaign covering the stretch from the Wild Coast Lodge entrance to Cinnamon Hotel. Likewise, a beach clean-up campaign was conducted collecting 20.2 kg of waste from our shoreline.

These projects, ranging from enhancing safety for children with special needs to preserving our pristine coastline and celebrating local culture, underscore Wild Coast Tented Lodge’s deep-rooted belief in shared prosperity.
