At the heart of the Cape Weligama kids’ club, the Forest School experience is thoughtfully designed to engage children across four age groups (2–5, 6–8, 9–12, and 13–15 years), with a variety of complimentary, age-appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and connection with nature. Children can enjoy creative sessions such as pebble art, nature bracelets, and mud painting; unwind with cloud watching and storytelling; explore tree leaf identification and shadow puppet theatre; build bug hotels and take on forest obstacle courses; and discover the wonders of star navigation, rain gauges, and more.
