Tour Overview
The experience begins with a warm welcome and an introduction in the boardroom of Forbes & Walker, where you'll watch a short video covering the history of Sri Lankan tea, the 7 tea regions, and the Colombo Tea Auction. Your guide will provide a deeper understanding of the tea trade, from cultivation to auction. Next, you’ll move to the operational tea tasting room, where professionals will demonstrate how they evaluate teas, followed by a tasting session with a variety of teas from different regions and processing styles. The tour concludes with a relaxing tea and snack session in the boardroom, where you can enjoy refreshments and ask any final questions.

- Seasonality: Available from May to November (weather permitting)
- Location: A scenic viewpoint within the tea estate, located within walking distance (500m or less) from your bungalow
- Time: Daily | 4.00 PM (Alternative timing may be arranged subject to availability)
- Duration: 45 – 60 minutes
- Please inform your butler of your preferred date at least one day in advance. (Available for guests staying 2 nights or more)
- Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
- The walk is gentle and suitable for most fitness levels.
- Experience is weather dependent; alternative arrangements will be offered if required.
