A Fresh Perspective on the Wild

With its reopening, Wild Coast introduces a series of carefully curated enhancements designed to elevate the guest experience while staying true to its untamed surroundings. Every detail has been considered to strengthen the connection between landscape, culture, and stay.

The property now welcomes guests into newly refreshed spaces that feel both familiar and renewed – each one designed to draw the outdoors in and reflect the raw beauty of the surrounding wilderness.

New Spaces, New Stories

At the heart of the transformation is the introduction of several new and renewed spaces.

The Library Cocktail Bar offers a more intimate setting to unwind, where crafted drinks meet quiet ambience and layered storytelling. Dining spaces have also been renewed, creating more immersive and atmospheric settings to experience cuisine inspired by place and season.

Project Boulder marks another milestone in this evolution, alongside the introduction of the “The Oculus” that houses our Quarry Gym and Fossil Room – two spaces that bring together learning, movement, and a quiet nod to the ancient landscapes that shape the region.

Together, these additions expand the Wild Coast experience beyond accommodation, offering guests a deeper, more textured journey.

A Celebration of Culture and Place

The reopening was marked by a celebration rooted in the cultural rhythms of the region. Guests were welcomed with traditional Wes dancers and the striking presence of peacock dancers, whose performances brought colour, movement, and energy to the occasion.

A ceremonial milk boiling ritual, where milk overflowed from the pot onto all sides, symbolised prosperity, abundance, and good fortune -a fitting blessing for the next chapter of Wild Coast.

These moments were not just ceremonial, but a reminder of the living culture that surrounds and informs the experience of the coast.
