A hands-on experience

A more hands-on introduction to our island fare. Learn the basics of Sri Lankan cooking, from the range of spices and ingredients, to techniques and recipes behind the magic of Sri Lankan cuisine. Guests are invited to get hands on with mixing spices, preparation and cooking to immerse themselves in this fun and sensory experience. This dining experience is the ideal prelude to a full Sri Lankan dinner the same night.

The experience is not a typical ‘demo’ but more an interactive learning experience on how to make some of our favourite and most popular dishes. However, it is safe to say that guest ability behind the stove will not obstruct an exquisite ‘rice and curry’ lunch from being presented!
